On the mining site, the hygiene measures recommended by the Public Health are implemented to ensure the safety of all. For more than a year, the measures have been in constant evolution, according to the recommendations issued. Here are some of the measures implemented:
Onboard the plane
- Wearing a mask is mandatory
- Each worker has his assigned seat
- Meals are offered before the flight
- Workers are encouraged to minimize circulation on plane
On the bus to our sites
- Wearing a mask is mandatory
- Seats are assigned and tracked
In our camps
- Respect of the physical distance of 2 meters between each person
- Wearing a mask is mandatory in areas
- Sanitisation stations are made available in multiple areas
- Extra staff perform routine disinfections of handles and work stations
In the cafeteria
- Hand washing is mandatory at the entrance and exit of the cafeteria
- Utensils and glasses are given to workers
- Take-outs are encouraged
- All self-service stations have been removed and additional staff manage all service stations
In the CRI vehicles circulating on the mining site
- Workers must clean the vehicle before and after each use with the products made available to them
- Physical barriers have been installed inside the vehicles
- Only one driver is assigned to the vehicle
