An extremely stimulating virtual reality project

Suzanne Dubé (Corporate HR Superintendent) and Elaisa Uqittuq (Inuit Employment and Training Supervisor), in collaboration with the Centre de Formation Professionnel de Val-d’Or, carried out, in recent months, a virtual reality project!

The team created three short scenarios that can be viewed through a VR headset and that provide a clear idea of the life of CRI employees on the site.  The videos give you a 360-degree view, so when wearing the headset, it feels as though you’re really part of the action!

This headset will be used when our staff travels to the six Inuit communities to attract more employees and allow potential applicants to have an overview of the activities of the mine. They will also be used during the new employee onboarding process.

An extremely stimulating project that’s proof of CRI’s advances in innovation! And it’s only the beginning!
